The rules.

Welcome to the inaugural post for our little site! If you've made it here, you're probably well aware that we have finally decided to make good on our promise to start a book club. We're excited to be here, and we hope you are too! To start off, we wanted to outline the rules of our little guild:

• Each month we will read a book, decided on beforehand. At the end of the month, we will meet to discuss/argue/cry over said book.
• We will take turns hosting the group each month. The host for the month will provide snacks for the group.
• What would a meeting of the minds be without a little wine? Exactly. Each member of the group (excluding the hostess), will bring a bottle of wine for the night. The wine must be under $25, and - here's the fun part - must be something that the person bringing it has never tried before. That way, it's a surprise for all, and we will get to experiment with a slew of new flavours.
• Any book is up for grabs - whether it be novel, non-fiction, biography, etc - whatever we're in the mood for.
• At the monthly meet-up, we will also confirm the next month's book choice and date for meeting.
• And please remember - this is going to be fun! It's okay to have a difference of opinion, as long as we're all showing respect. Keep on topic - we all love to read and share, and that's what we're here for.
